Elements of diffusion process

 Ans: “Diffusion is the process by which an innovation is communicated through certain channels overtime among the members of a social system.”

Element of Diffusion: elements of diffusion are four

1. Innovation 

2.Communication Channel

3. Time or overtime

4. Social System

(a) Innovation: it is Idea, practice, object that is perceived as new by an individual or other unit of adoption.

(b) Communication Channels: Correct communication channels used during the process of diffusion, oriented towards behaviour and preferences of the target category of adopters.

(c) Time: Time is involved in innovation decision process

(d) Social System: it is set of interrelated units that are engaged in joint problem  solving to accomplish  a common goal.
