Process of communication

 

Communication is the process of transmitting information and common understanding from one person to another.

    It is a continuous process which has mutually exclusive and interrelated elements viz. Sender, Message, Channel, Receiver.

    It gets the sender and receiver tuned together for a particular message or a series of messages.

    It is constantly changing as the communication proceeds.

    It is a dynamic, ongoing, ever changing, continuous act.

    It has no beginning, end or fixed sequence of events.

    It uses a set of media to transmit ideas, facts, feelings from one person to another.

    It is explained as process of stimuli-response process.

    It is a two-way process.
